We all grew up watching Jean Claude Van Damme movies and all our other favorite action stars. Unlike some who head into politics or others who reprise the same role again and again Jean Claude might have created a gem. This movie looks pretty awesome.
I came across this documentary like a year or two ago on one of the independent film channels and it grabbed my attention. Today I came across it again because turntable lab got it in stock so they sent me an email to let me know the new stuff they got in. I found the film online in it’s entirety and watched it. It is extremely heavy; and goes to show you how bad things can get, and how strong human beings can become to overcome feats in their lives. I don’t know how some of these people go on living from day to day, but i commend them. The Film is appropriately called “Dark Days”. Check out the trailer, and here’s a link to the whole film.
“Stop motion (or frame-by-frame) animation is an animation technique to make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own. The object is moved by small amounts between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames are played as a continuous sequence.”

i can only imagine. anyone who has the patience, dedication, drive whatever you want to call it to put together an entire movie or few minute clip using frame-by-frame photographs gets an A in my book. That shit has got to be mad time consuming and probably takes a lot of drugs; meet “PES” - dude is a beast.
anyways look below for some of his best “stop” motion films, shit is for reaalllll.
just got done seeing The Dark Knight….i couldnt go the whole weekend without going and it lived up to my expectations and beyond. Heath Ledger and Aaron Eckhart stole the movie hands down. Both amazing characters. No details here. GO SEE IT!
